Foothold Computer-Wise

Following the success of the Lottery funded Computer-wise project, we are pleased to continue offering a similar service. We will offer set courses, custom made courses, advice and support to primarily the 40+ age group. The classes are small and informal with an easy format learning style.

Training

• Basic Internet Technologies
• Further Computer skills
• E-mail – a further look
• Internet – a further look

Customised courses available, formatted to your requirements. Our venue or we can come to yours.

Purchasing Advice & Support
When it comes to buying new computer equipment, it is essential to receive the right advice and to make the right choice. The Computer-Wise scheme will ensure you receive the best possible purchasing advice and support.
We will:

• Discuss individual’s equipment requirements
• Source the best price & supplier
• Tag along to the shop and assist with any “Techno” babble with sales staff
• Set up their new equipment
• Provide basic training in the use of their new equipment

Technical Helpline
Whether you have a computer or if you are looking to buy a new one, we understand the importance of receiving ongoing support. We have a technical helpline for beneficiaries to call (at local rate) when things go wrong.
