to create a County Chamber of Commerce. This allows the Business Sector to be more organised and have a stronger voice. Working together with the commercial sector, The Foothold Group are likely to achieve more to improve the economic and social well being of our communities.
It is a strong partnership that has produced results and has generated the second largest Chamber in Wales. This link is something that both the Chamber and Foothold value and it guarantees that we have the mechanism in place to always “listen to the customer”.
All of the County Chambers’ work is carried out through The Foothold Group, the delivery agent, under a Legal Agency Agreement.
The Carmarthenshire Chamber of Commerce Team
The Chamber has dedicated, paid staff who run the services and the events. It also has volunteer Directors who make policy decisions and assist in the lobbying process. These Directors are businessmen and women, who set the future Direction for the Chamber and ensure that the Chamber continues to provide relevant services to its Members.
