PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

Foothold recognises that most new businesses need to set up in an appropriate physical environment. Important factors include location, price and access to peer support. Foothold has accordingly built up a portfolio of over 60 business units, geared to low cost incubator needs.

By clustering new and growing firms in close proximity to Foothold’s experienced team of advisors and general management, it has enabled us to provide the basis for a close relationship and understanding of the business, together with extended hand holding through the developmental years.

Foothold Business sites

Along with our dedicated business centres at Trostre, Cross Hands and Carmarthen, we have the following sites providing accommodation for external tenancy.

1. The Foothold Village, Machynys, Llanelli.

Opened in 2002 this facility is set in the Machynys Peninsula opposite the new Jack Niklaus designed golf course. The building includes 8 units varying in size from 245 to 800 square feet. Each unit is self-contained. We have additional 3 acres for future development of more accommodation.

2. The Lord Arthur Rank Centre, Trostre Road, Llanelli.
Opened in 1996 these premises offer a mix of office and workshops on two stores. Our ground floor has 8 offices and 6 workshops, and the first floor 8 offices. The workshops range from 360 to 500 square feet and the offices 128 to 460 square feet.

3. The Foothold Centre, Stebonheath Terrace.
This facility was acquired by Foothold in 2000 and commands imposing view over Llanelli to Pembrey and the Gower. It is a two-story building with bespoke office accommodation. There are a total of 18 ground floor and 15 first floor units and including extensive conferencing and meeting room and catering facilities. Room sizes vary from 150 to 1000 square feet.

All Foothold premises enjoy access to its central management support service and meeting/ conference facilities. Each unit is located close to key road routes and offer extensive free on site parking. The buildings are made available with independent access on a 24/7, year round basis.

Foothold provides cover for security building insurance and other service requirements and negotiates economies of scale in energy charges.
