Builds its first Business Start incubator units in Llanelli. Foothold and all it's many projects gets re-branded to bring all of these projects under the one brand name helping to promote foothold and teh good work that it does. B2B Business Services Ltd., was established offering commercial sources to the Business Sector. Powerful People Ltd., was launched as a Trading Company focusing on the socially excluded with £1.3million funded through the E.U. 2004-Second Intertrading partnership including Carmarthenshire Council, WDA and Welsh Assembly Government.2005-Hidden Dragon partnership with Carmarthenshire Council to develop social ‘not for profit’ businesses in our county. Hidden Dragon partnership with Carmarthenshire Council to develop social ‘not for profit’ businesses in our county. 2002-Facilitating the National Chamber of Commerce project to help West Wales businesses secure support from approved European-funded projects.2002-Workstep – Contract with Jobcentre Plus to help people with disabilities prepare for and secure employment.2002-WDA New Business Starts provider for Carmarthenshire. Foothold Group Ltd., Established as the holding Company and Central Support engine for the Group.2000-Youth Enterprise Project – working with schools and young people to develop self-employment.2000 - Self-employment for people with disabilities – helping people to create own enterprises. Foothold Crochan Ltd., Established as a Community Recycling Company with funding from Europe. Incorporated as a Youth Enterprise Agency, accredited and registered by the Welsh Office. Foothold Community Specialists Ltd., established as a Community Development Organisation secured funding from Europe, the Lottery and others.1999-First Intertrading Project in partnership with Carmarthenshire Council. Llanelli Community Development Company disbanded and Foothold becomes an autonomous entity with its first Chairman Des. Thomas MBE. Premises secured in New Dock Road and First Manager appointed, Georgina Runnells. Funding was secured from the Welsh Office and first staff appointed. The Llanelli Community Development Agency was formed to carry out Community Regeneration Activities in the Llanelli area and led to the establishment of a Youth Enterprise Centre in the middle of Llanelli.
