Foothold has embarked on a strategy to improve and strengthen its long term sustainability.

We recognised some time ago that reliance on grants to achieve our social objectives is at best uncontrollable and at worst not sustainable.

Like other similar organisations we have to take action to secure our own funding. This is best achieved through our own earned income generated through our own trading subsidiaries.

These are constituted as commercial ventures but are owned (totally or in partnership) by Foothold, which remains a non-profit distributary organisation focused on achieving its social objectives.
